Brief Explanation

How Can Outdoor Tile Get So Dirty?

While unmaintained indoor tile can get grimy and faded, conversely, within the same amount of time or so, outdoor tile can become completely different in appearance.

Yes, indoor tile catches mud, dirt, and debris that's trailed in, but outdoor time live and resides in endless conditions of exposure.

On rainy days, water pummels the color. On extremely hot days, the Sun bakes in stains and lingering rubbish.

And on a regular Florida afternoon, these conditions can alternate at the drop of a hat.

It's no surprise that outdoor tile can become literally black and muddy in color. But what's even more surprising is the results that we can bring to down-and-out tile such as this.

WOW!! I called Palm Beach Hydro Clean to come to my residence to maintain my "clean" floors. Well at least that's what i thought. The results were amazing!! I used a former floor cleaner last year and the results were good, but could not compare… ~ Susan G - West Palm Beach

1. Any Outdoor Tile Tips Or Tricks?

Over the years, we've come to know a few here and there.

If you're considering getting some outdoor tile, pay close attention as to where the actual tile will be. A great tip to keep in mind here is that contrast is key.

If the outdoor tile's going to be in a heavily shaded area, a lighter color will likely suit the space well. However, if the tile will be more exposed to brighter conditions, then it's worth considering a darker color for that area.

Another aspect which can sometimes be overlooked is the topic of sealants. For a majority of the time, most porcelain and ceramic tiles often come sealed by default.

But other certain tile materials, such as stone, need to be sealed for maximum protection capabilities.

Speaking of stone though, other such natural materials like slate, limestone, and quartzite look great outdoors and help to add both depth and dimension to the surrounding area.

2. Is Our Tile Cleaning Process Effective & What's Involved In It?

The first phase of our tile cleaning is Pre-Treatment. During this initial phase, we first apply a penetrating cleaning solution that loosens up all of the excess dirt, grease, bacteria and particles that can become ingrained in your outdoor tile.

From here, we’ll then transition into the Pressure Treatment phase. This involves us using extremely high-pressure water in our Containment Dome to cut through the toughest spaces, nooks, and crannies.

This water pressure can reach levels all the way up to 3,000 PSI, so that’s some pretty serious cleaning power.

Finally, our unit uses how water temperatures of 200°+ to bake away and get rid of any other lingering residue or debris that's left over.

The final result is then a squeaky-clean tile floor that will be sure to turn heads.

3. What Makes Us The Experts At Outdoor Tile Cleaning?

We believe that you should never have to compromise safety for cleanliness.

4. How Often Should Outdoor Tile Be Cleaned?

An in-depth tile cleaning works wonders for the overall lifespan of outdoor tile flooring.

It's professionally recommended to get your tile floors cleaned no more than once every 6 months, and ideally at least once every 3 years.

For a majority of commercial tile floors out there, roughly having them cleaned once a year or every 1 1/2 years is a good range to go off of.

This particular outdoor flooring was far overdue for a professional deep cleaning.

5. Is There A Reason We Offer A FREE Demonstration?

When it comes to some tile cleaning businesses, you only have a real chance to see what the results are like after you’ve already hired them, which can sometimes be a toss in the air.

When it comes to Hydro Clean though, we’re not shy to show you what we’re capable of.

Once you’ve called us and we’ve set up an appointment, we’ll come out and show you first hand what your outdoor tile used to look like once upon a time.

Our FREE, No-Obligation Demonstration is our way of giving you a larger frame of reference while also putting the power of choice directly at your fingertips.
